Cax Chow currently resides in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He considers himself a self-taught artist - always with a camera and a desire to speak through his photographs. Photography has been his passion since 10, when he shot a Lego figurine in the home freezer to imitate a winter scene using his family’s analogue camera. With an academic background in Visual Arts, he started out as an in-house photographer for Tropicana Golf & Country Resort. Later, he was trained by one of Malaysia’s top concert photographers. Beautiful and natural colours are expressed from the artist's heart in each of his photographs. Energy is expressed in his art through simple originality, creating a speechless and beautiful effect.

His range of subjects is wide - from weddings, stage shows to studio sessions. He specializes in commercial photography and weddings and is making a name for himself commercially around South East Asia, namely, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia. Along his journey Cax have been commissioned to photograph private functions in the presence of the king, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, and other well respected figures. Some of the outstanding publications and production where Cax’s work is being published: Architecture Asia magazine, Reno - Once Chance music album, Unza Malaysia's "Izzi" product TV commercial, Hong Kong Sa Sa (M) Sdn. Bhd.'s various medias, The Address magazines.
